The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
I hope that a certain lawyer appreciates how quickly the moat in front of his office was filled in last week. Maybe he took advantage of the construction and noise and went to chill out on the beach for a week. I wonder if anyone has a visual…?
The Mexican restaurant that was supposed to open in September is actually showing signs of life. It seems that some of their renovations are on the state highway right-of-way, and require permits. Ah, planning, where would we be without it?
While we are on the topic, I hope their landlord personally vetted them and that they meet with the town council’s approval. It will save a lot of hassle in the long run.
And high-speed internet. I have it. My neighbor has it, but my other neighbor doesn’t. Wrong side of the highway, or wrong address, or something. Service is spottier than you would think. Would it be too much to ask that Central Access, Spectrum and Alabama Power get together and share information? Do we need to contact the Public Service Commission? Certainly not the County Commission; that would save a lot of hassle in the long run.
Your eye in the sky, love,
Buzzy
