Paraprofessional Tabitha Hyatt shared a picture of Skyla Proctor and Simone Young who were very excited about their first day ever of instruction at the Coosa County Career and Technical Center (CCCTC).
Although CCCTC reopened last year, Skyla and Simone did not have courses in their schedule to attend the center last year. Mrs. Hyatt explained that Skyla and Simone were very excited to ride the bus to the CCCTC to attend their scheduled classes for the first time ever.
Special education coordinator, Wanda Young, shared a picture of McKinsley’s first bus ride on the first day of school. Mrs. Young wanted to give a special thank you to bus driver Melissa Hammonds and bus paraprofessional Denise Young who went above and beyond.
They were so excited to have McKinsley riding their bus that the week before school started both ladies took the bus to McKinsley’s house to be sure the “first day” bus ride would be a positive experience for her. Mrs. Young stated, “These ladies are awesome examples of the wonderful staff we have at Central Coosa schools. Thank you, Mrs. Hammonds and Mrs. Young, for your dedication.”
