A Goodwater man was arrested last Monday on drug-related charges following a probation violation.
On July 17, deputies were dispatched to the Goodwater area to serve a probation revocation warrant on Terrell Lamar Lykes.
Prior to his arrest for allegedly violating his probation, deputies conducted a pat down on Lykes. During that process, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine were reportedly found on his person.
Ultimately, 32-year-old Lykes of Goodwater, was arrested and charged with probation violation (relating to the Sex Offender and Registration Notification Act), possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His total bond for the two drug-related charges was set at $7,500. However, he was given no bond for his probation violation charge, and he remains in custody at the Coosa County Jail awaiting trial.
