The Alabama Department of Revenue has announced July 21-23 as the Back-to-School sales tax holiday for 2023. Central Elementary and Central High School supply lists are available at our community Dollar Generals in Cottage Grove, Goodwater, Kellyton, Rockford, and Stewartville. When you shop in Coosa County, for items you pay sales tax, a portion of the sales tax revenue goes to support your local school system. A copy of the supply lists can also be found on the Central Elementary website, www.coosaschools.org/Domain/8, and the Central High School website, www.coosaschools.org/Domain/9.
