A Sylacauga man was arrested earlier this month on a drug-related charge during a routine traffic stop.
Deputy Rudd conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an expired tag, and during the traffic stop he also discovered the driver’s license was revoked.
The driver, 43-year-old Dionne Carlos McKinney of Sylacauga, was arrested. Before towing it, law enforcement conducted inventory of the vehicle and located methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
As such, McKinney was arrested on June 13 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, meth. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was released on bond on June 15 to await trial.
