Today, June 23, Irene Beasley turns 102 years old. This happy young lady recently celebrated with her son, Phillip Beasley; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Beasley; and their family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Irene Beasley, a Goodwater resident and longtime reader of “The Coosa County News,” has credited her five great-grandchildren as being the ones who keep her going.
