Central Elementary students continue to strengthen their reading and math skills in the second week of their no-cost summer learning camps.

Thank you to Ms. Zachery for sharing pictures of the students completing a sentence building activity with high frequency words during reading camp. Pictured are Layla Chambers and Rachel Wood, as well as Waylon Harris and Rita Merced.

Mrs. Shannon White shared pictures of the upper grade elementary students in STEM camp who learned about speed and velocity, calculated speed and velocity for different actions, and then charted their data on a bar graph to make comparisons about their data. Pictured are Elena Robinson and Alizabeth Cowart.

Thank you also to Ms. Bee who is also teaching STEM camp and shared pictures of the students completing the water slide challenge in which they compete to build the fastest water slide. Pictured are Devieun Stallworth, Conner Merced and Alizabeth Cowart.
Thank you to all our teachers who are working so hard to make learning fun and interactive for our students during the summer.
