Mrs. Hyatt has worked at Central High School for seven years. Mrs. Hyatt first served as a substitute teacher and then as a paraprofessional for the last two years. As a paraprofessional, Mrs. Hyatt works in the self-contained classroom.
Mrs. Hyatt says, “I come to work everyday excited to work with my students, believing that every child has potential, that every child can learn, and that every child deserves the chance to show what they can do.”
Mrs. Hyatt says her favorite part of her job is watching a student learn something they did not think they could; to see that “light bulb moment” when everything clicks for them. Mrs. Hyatt added, “We have such smart students, and they are a joy to work with everyday. I feel beyond blessed to be able to work in Special Education. These kids have my heart.”
Mrs. Hyatt also works after school for the SAFE program with our elementary students. Congratulations, Mrs. Hyatt.
