We love and appreciate our staff every day, but the Student Government Association (SGA), as well as others, went above and beyond to show their love during Teacher Appreciation Week. SGA members led by Jaidyn Moore came up to the school on Sunday to decorate and leave “love notes” around the school for the teachers.
On Monday, SGA members served coffee and donuts to the staff in the morning. Tuesday afternoon SGA members served sweets and treats for staff, and on Wednesday afternoon SGA members served ice cream sundaes for staff. On Thursday SGA members served the staff pizza and salad for lunch, and Friday SGA members swept the teachers’ rooms in the afternoon. Thank you, also, to other organizations who made our staff feel special by providing lunch throughout the week, Alabama Education Association, Central PTO and Ed’s Deli. The Church of the Highlands brought a snack basket of treats for our staff, and the Beta Club gifted teachers with coffee cups. Thank you to everyone for making our staff feel extra special during Teacher Appreciation Week.
