The kindergarten classes have been observing the life cycle of their butterflies for weeks from egg, caterpillar, pupa, and finally butterfly. The time had come to release them into nature, though. Ms. Lea’s, Mrs. Alverson’s and Ms. Wells’ classes look on as Ms. Wells releases the butterflies. Occasionally a released butterfly waited around. Pictured are Charlotte, Londyn and friends who watch eagerly to see when it will take off. Thank you to our kindergarten teachers for inspiring our students with hands-on experiments for our youngest scientists.
