Mrs. Holbrook, Mrs. Hyatt and Mrs. Byrd’s self-contained class learned about past civilizations and archaeological digs. After learning about ancient pottery found on the archaeological digs, they made their own pottery. The self-contained class also volunteered with the Coosa County Extension Office to help prepare bags for the Family Festival. The students had a great time learning both inside and outside the classroom.
