Five teachers from Central Elementary recently received notification that they have been accepted to Ag in the Classroom summer workshop. Maryann Waters, Brigitte Smith, Susan Newsome, Lorie Bee, and Lisa Compher will be spending two and a half days in Huntsville learning how to incorporate agriculture into their lessons. In addition to learning about dairy, pollinators and farming, the teachers will be taking field trips to an orchard, farm and museum. Thanks to Ag in the Classroom for making this possible.
