A Kellyton couple was arrested late last month on drug-related charges involving a minor.
On February 28, 28-year-old Katie Williamson and 45-year-old Terrance Rawls were both arrested and charged with chemical endangerment of a child.
Sheriff Michael Howell reported that Williamson and Rawls both reside at a house in Kellyton and that they had a child slightly more than 1 year old in their care.
He stated that the toddler tested positive for numerous controlled substances, as well as marijuana. The adults both also tested positive for controlled substances and THC, or marijuana.
Howell confirmed that Williamson and Rawls are in a dating relationship.
Bond for each of them has been set at $15,000. As of press time both remained in custody at the Coosa County Jail in Rockford awaiting trial.
