Dynamic motivational speaker Dr. Earl Suttle; CEO and founder of Leadership Success International, former school teacher and counselor, author of 10 best-selling books, and consultant to the NBA, NFL, and WWE; spoke with Central High School students on the importance of serving their communities.
Through ENI students have the opportunity to serve on the Youth Community Council (YCC) which will work to improve the health and quality of life in their communities. YCC members will meet regularly to work on health issues important to young people in their communities. Additionally, YCC members will interact with peers from across Alabama to create a plan to inspire healthy living for their generation. Plans include eye, hearing, dental, and nutritionist clinics, as well as a walking park. During Dr. Suttle’s presentation he reminded our students of three important points, “Your conditions do not determine your position; if you do more than you are asked to do, you will reap more; and you have to be able to bounce back.”
Thank you to the community liaison for ENI, Reverend Tracy Burton, for arranging for Dr. Suttle to come share his insight with our students.
