On February 18, law enforcement received a call for service for an alarm at Dollar General located on U.S. Highway 231 in Rockford.
Upon arrival of law enforcement, they found the front door of the store had broken glass, but nothing was taken from the store. Law enforcement obtained surveillance videos and determined that two males were involved.
With the help of citizens’ tips the two suspects have been identified. While no arrests had been made as of press time, Rockford Police Chief George Fanning reported that the suspects would likely be charged with robbery upon their arrests.
The Rockford Police Department would like to thank the citizens and Coosa County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this case.
