Central Elementary second graders went on a field trip to watch a production of “The Wizard of Oz,” presented by SAFE’S Southern Dance and Performing Arts Company. The production was especially exciting because one of their classmates, Jada Lunceford, had a starring role. Jada performed the part of Toto, Dorothy’s adorable and loyal dog. This was Jada’s first musical performance and hopefully the beginning of many more. Mrs. McGraw said, “She did a fantastic job!” Congratulations, Jada; we look forward to watching your future performances.
