Monday was crazy socks day, and Ms. Wells’ kindergarten class enjoyed the day listening to “Fox in Socks” and “The Foot Book.” Students showed off their crazy socks and took a picture in front of the Truffula Tree Forest from “The Lorax.”
For green eggs and ham day Ms. Wells’ kindergartners and Mrs. Compher’s third graders enjoyed green eggs and ham while Mrs. Trussell’s third grade class celebrated green eggs and ham day by writing their spelling words in green shaving cream! Pictured are Brantlee, Kaylee, Rylee, Londyn, and Dani showing off their crafts and their wacky Wednesday outfits.
Students have also been treated to guest readers; including Nurse Hay; reading coach, Mrs. Porch; Mrs. Nicole Law; and Central High School (CHS) junior, Eden Nickolson, who is dual enrolled at CHS and Central Alabama Community College; reading to elementary students is part of a service project for her honors English class. Thank you to our teachers for going above and beyond to make reading fun for our students.
