Ninth grader Akeelah Houston is a very hard working, polite and supportive student. She is always considerate and compassionate towards others and has a strong desire to learn. She loves all things art and her new baby brother. Akeelah wishes to pursue therapy as a career. She enjoys games, art and having fun! Congratulations, Akeelah!
Tenth grader Roderick Graham is a polite, diligent and overall pleasant student. He loves to draw, write short stories and spend time with his friends. His career choices are art, writing, or teaching. His mom is his major supporter, and he thanks her greatly for everything she does! Congratulations, Roderick!
Eleventh grader Abigail Hyatt has such a pleasant personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She works very hard, both on her class assignments and with her extracurricular activities. She is a joy to have in class. Abi participates in Key Club, SGA and softball. She aspires to attend veterinary school at Auburn University and is the youth representative at the newly opened Coosa County Animal Shelter.
Twelfth grader Daeja Cook is giving, kind and always helpful. She is willing to assist staff and peers whenever they need help. Academically she has a gift for writing well. Daeja volunteers as a Diamond Doll for the Cougar baseball program. Congratulations, Daeja!
