Special to the News
The Coosa County Cattlemen’s Association President Tommy Thornton and Secretary/Treasurer Robbin Housch participated in the Careers on Wheels event held at Central Coosa Elementary School last Friday, February 10.
Thornton brought his tractor and hay baler with a roll of hay to the school and talked about how he uses the tractor and hay baler to produce hay for feed for various types of livestock.
The kids had lots of questions and loved being able to sit in the driver’s seat of the tractor. Thank you to Keslie Garrett for inviting us.
