Mrs. Clark has been an important part of the Central Coosa High School family for almost five years, serving as a paraprofessional working with students in grades 7–12 through intervention and Edgenuity classes.
Her commitment to her students goes far beyond the classroom. She believes her most important responsibility is helping students prepare not only for graduation, but for life beyond high school. She encourages each student to strive to be the best version of themselves and works to equip them with the confidence, skills and determination they need to succeed in society.
Central Coosa High School is especially meaningful to Mrs. Clark because her own children have been Cougars since Pre-K. Jeffery is an active member of the school community, playing football and proudly marching with the Pride of Central Coosa Cougars Marching Band, while Jenni is a dedicated varsity cheerleader.
Education and personal growth are also priorities in Mrs. Clark’s own life. She recently completed her bachelor’s degree in social work and will celebrate this accomplishment at her commencement ceremony in November. She plans to continue her education with the goal of furthering her knowledge and work in the field of mental health.
Mrs. Clark is also deeply involved in supporting the Central Coosa school community. This year, she is serving as the Homecoming representatives sponsor, and she has proudly served as Prom sponsor for the past three years. She announces the Pride of Central Coosa Cougars Marching Band at every football game and has volunteered with Upward Cheer during both basketball and football seasons.
Her willingness to give her time, energy and talents to students and school activities is a true reflection of her dedication to Central Coosa. We are proud to recognize her dedication and the positive impact she makes on our students every day.
Thank you to Mrs. Hughes for composing Mrs. Clark’s biography and Alabama ONE for sponsoring the Teacher of the Month yard signs.
