Last Thursday, September 3, Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) narcotics agents and K-9 handlers arrested three individuals following a traffic stop while patrolling the area surrounding Donaldson Correctional Facility.
Agents conducted a probable-cause traffic stop, K-9 alerted, and the vehicle was searched. A taped package was recovered that contained approximately:
- 15.90 gg of hydrocodone tablets
- 454gg (1 pound) marijuana
- One DJI Mavric 3 drone
- 2 cell phones
- Wireless air pods and charging cords
The three suspects were transported to the Jefferson County (Bessemer) Jail for processing.
Naveah Effie Hill of Huntsville was charged with drug trafficking (opiates), first-degree conspiracy to promote prison contraband and first-degree possession of marijuana.
T’Nya Alyse Howard of Huntsville was charged with first-degree conspiracy to promote prison contraband.
Christopher A. Nelson of Montgomery was charged with first-degree conspiracy to promote prison contraband and second-degree possession of marijuana.
