Children with the Goodwater Youth Development Center’s Summer Camp enjoyed planting seeds last week while enjoying educational activities. The Coosa County Extension office helped lead the activity. Thanks to the Coosa County Soil and Water Conservation District’s donation, youth were able to work in “BeeLinda Bee Pollinators” activity books. As part of the activity and educational program, students learned about the importance of pollinators and protecting waterways and lands, in addition to planting seeds to watch them grow.
