Special to the News
Thank you to Janice Kilgore, the district administrative coordinator from the Coosa County Conservation District, who shared that Central Coosa students had a winner in each age category in the poster contest for the area.
Congratulations to the K-first grade winner Levi Robinson (not pictured); second-third grade winner Karissa Crowe; fourth-sixth grade winner Hannah Huerta Morales; seventh-ninth grade winner Jeffery Yates, and tenth-twelfth grade winner Traci Cox. Each of the winners received a $50 gift card.
Thank you, also, to the teachers for encouraging the students to participate and to science coach Shelley Wood for being the liaison between the teachers and the Conservation District. Cougar Pride!
