ARRESTS
On July 1, Lt. Moon arrested Amanda Gail Hurt, a citizen of Sylacauga, on a charge of Harassment. She was processed and placed in the Coosa County Jail with a $500 bond.
On July 2, Deputy Dawson arrested Matthew Richard Stephenson, a citizen of Eclectic, on a charge of Failure to Appear in court. He was processed and placed in the Coosa County Jail with a $500 bond.
On July 6, Deputy Dawson arrested Robert Daniel Horn, a citizen of Goodwater, on a charge of Failure to Appear in court. He was processed and placed in the Coosa County Jail with a $724.90 bond.
On July 7, Deputy Payton arrested Jayson Eugene Hosey, a citizen of Sylacauga, on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substances and Drug Paraphernalia. He was placed in the Coosa County Jail with a $7,500 bond.
On July 7, Deputy Payton arrested Kayla Rena Kite, a citizen of Sylacauga, on a charge of Criminal Mischief and Public Intoxication. She was placed in the Coosa County Jail with a $2,000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On July 4th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy patrolled area and made negative contact.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Holly Springs Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle and suspicious persons. After the Deputy patrolled the area, he located the suspicious persons and the vehicle. Two arrests were made, and the subjects were transported to the Coosa County Jail without incident.
STEWARTVILLE
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a call of an unwanted person. Deputies contacted the subject and advised him not to return to the property. No report was needed.
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report for a citizen assist. Deputies transported the juvenile safely to the home of a family member without incident.
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil disturbance. Deputies contacted the subject, and the subject left the property.
On July 4th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist and helped move the vehicle out of the roadway.
On July 5th, Deputies, Stewartville Volunteer Fire Department, and Coosa 22, were dispatched to County Road 150 near Hwy 280, after receiving a report of a vehicle accident. Coosa 22 transported one subject to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. Deputies determined it was a civil matter; no report needed.
On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a call for a domestic dispute. The subject left the property before the Deputy arrived; no report was wanted.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Eds Lane after receiving a report of a civil dispute. After the Deputy talked to both parties, a report was completed.
WEOGUFKA
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to Cedar Circle after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. The scene was turned over to the County Coroner.
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 55 after receiving a call to unlock a vehicle. Deputies unlocked the vehicle without incident.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of Harassment by Communication. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
HANOVER
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Deputies transported the subject to the county line.
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
On July 4th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of property damage. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist and moved the vehicle off the roadway without incident.

MT OLIVE
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 123 involving a high-speed pursuit. The Deputies and multiple agencies ended the pursuit in Sylacauga. One subject was taken into custody by Talladega County.
On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Noble Trail after receiving a report of a drunk driver. The Deputy patrolled the area, and made negative contact with the subject.
KENYO
On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies determined everything was fine. No report needed.
GOODWATER
On July 1st, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 111 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject had left the property; no report was wanted or needed.
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a business alarm. Deputies determined it was a false alarm.
KELLYTON
On July 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of a Burglary. No report was wanted at this time.
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 325 after receiving a report of a residential alarm. Deputies determined it was a false alarm.
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies determined they were having car trouble.
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Reckless Driver. The Deputy patrolled the area but made negative contact.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 323 after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 77 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
ROCKFORD
On July 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subjects went their separate ways, no report was needed.
On July 1st, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 8 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies checked on the subject, and advised the person was good.
On July 4th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 107 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy searched the area, but negative contact was made.
On July 6th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 8 after receiving a report of suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and was unable to locate anyone.
COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP
On July 4th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 93 after receiving a report of a domestic in progress. All parties left the property prior to the Deputy’s arrival. Negative contact was made.
On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 133 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
EQUALITY
On July 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 33 after receiving a report of a residential alarm. Deputies determined it was a false alarm.
On July 5th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 67 after a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies patrolled the area and determined everything was fine.
On July 7th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4 after receiving a report of a juvenile requesting assistance. The Deputy talked to the juvenile, and the issue was resolved. No report needed.

RAY
On July 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and the case is under investigation.
