Congratulations to the Pride of Coosa County Concert Band who returned from the Panama City Beach Music Festival this week with a platinum trophy rating. The band was able to practice under the direction of Daniel Cho, the assistant director of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, before heading to competition last week. Their hard work paid off, and then they were able to build more memories by enjoying the day at the water park, Shipwreck Island, as well as some time to bowl and enjoy the beach. Thank you The Pride of Coosa County band director Daryl Ingram for going above and beyond for our students to organize the competition and trip. In addition, trips such as these would not be possible if it were not for parents who volunteer to chaperone. Special thank you to Mrs. Griffith, Mrs. Childress, Mrs. Ross, and Mrs. Washington. Cougar Pride!
