I wrote last week that Jesus gets sweeter and sweeter every day. Well, He has gotten even sweeter. Some weeks ago Union Square residents were in distress over two missing fur babies. After two weeks of tears, doubts and prayers, these babies came home.
Nobody but God could have done this. A little undernourished, but they are home and will be taken good care of by the owner as before. We cannot thank God enough, and we thank everyone who played a part in the movement of finding these babies. Whether on stage or not, you were seen, recognized and honored. Your reward will be given by God. Union Square residents are very grateful to everyone who prayed and kept the faith. We love y’all.
We lift these people up in prayer: Joyce Taylor, Tommy Barkley, Pastor Chris Hill and family, Kayla Shone, Pastor Ivor Smith, his grandson J.D., Robert Smith, Ronnie Joiner, attorney John K. Johnson, the Trong family, and everyone who is feeling a little ill right now. Please let’s keep all of the families who have lost loved ones in the past month and weeks in prayer, also. There have been so many; I cannot name them all, but God knows who they are, and He is in charge of all things.
We pray for Carmen Leonard in the loss of her dear mother, Carrie Lawrence, a dear friend of mine and many others. We pray for the family of Sonny Carbon, Joel Glover and many others. Let’s also pray for these pastors who are delivering these services. God bless them. I am sure it is not easy.
It’s not easy for me to write this week for hearing about all the things that are happening, wars, accidents, sickness, death, etc. However, I still trust the Most High Almighty God, and I love Him more than ever because He is so faithful. He has never failed me, and He never will.
Happy birthday to Patsy Johnston, Jenette Crayton, Ricky Hannon, Randall Lewis, Loraine Goggans, and all April babies.
I thank God for loving me and pray for Him to give me strength to keep His commandments. I thank Him for sending Jesus as the way to experience the real and lasting love of His presence.
