2024 is the year to speak up and tell the truth. We must stand up and speak up.
Can I please get some prayer warriors to help me pray for the Town of Rockford? There is a very heavy spirit in Rockford, and it is not good. It is so heavy and thick that you can cut it with a knife. I have not felt this before. It is like demons are all over town.
Please, warriors, let’s pray that God will intervene in a hurry. God knows what’s happening. However, we must pray, for “we have not because we ask not.” You can almost see those demons if you stare. One tried to fall on me election night, but I rebuked it, and God fought for me. Thank you, God. The battle was not mine in the first place.
The devil has a job to do, too, but he was defeated. I have seen too many victories to let defeat have the last say.
Let’s not only pray for Rockford. Let’s pray for the entire Coosa County, our country, homes, churches, schools, etc. We pray for all the bereaved families; the families of Mrs. Annie Ruth Holt, Ms. Vanessa Leonard and Mr. Billy Ellington.
Our hearts are heavy. Sometimes our hearts can be heavy on more than death. Serving God in an unsure way can be heavy on many of us sometimes.
I might offend someone for speaking the truth on a subject: usher; an usher is one who escorts persons to seats in a church, theater, etc.; one in charge of a door, introduce, contribute to the beginning of. Ushering is one of the most important jobs in a church. It works from the door to the pulpit, whether it’s a regular service or a funeral.
It’s not to just stand and look important. It is important. You must greet with a smile and be willing to work, and not just standing like a sergeant in the Army or like you don’t want to be there. If you don’t want to work, sit down!
Churches do do things differently. However, all church ushers should know the basics of ushering, wherever you serve. Walk people to their seats. Don’t point them. Otherwise question yourselves. Ask, “Am I called to usher?” Don’t just jump on board because someone tells you that you need to do something in the church and you think ushering is easy so you get on board.
No, it is not easy, but it is good to serve in the house of God. Whatever you do for God, let it be real.
Happy birthday to Lady Roshelle Smith, Janice McKinney, Kayla Shone, Lattie Hardy, and all March babies.
