Seventh grader TyQuavious Jones is a diligent and hardworking student. Ty is very intelligent and has good class participation. He is also friendly and works well with others. Ty is very respectful and one of the most mannerable students in seventh grade. Despite facing challenges this year, he still maintains a positive attitude and shows great perseverance. Congratulations, Ty!

Eighth grader Jordyn Villagrana is very polite and friendly. She works well with others and participates in class. Jordyn is a member of the CHS band – go COUGARS! The instrument she plays is the drums. She has excelled in her classes, especially in math. She always maintains a bubbly personality and is always all smiles! Congratulations, Jordyn!

Ninth grader Kenyon Richardson is a very respectful young man, a very good student and has great attendance. Teachers can always count on Kenyon to be on task and engaged in the lessons. In addition, he serves as a role model for his fellow students, encouraging them both academically and in maintaining positive classroom behavior. Kenyon has such a pleasant personality and is always a joy to be around. Kenyon is also a member of SGA as a three-sport athlete. Congratulations, Kenyon!

Tenth grader Lamiya Harrison has stepped up as an FCCLA officer and works hard in the classroom. She also encourages other students to be attentive in class and attempts to redirect them when they get off task or politely let them know that they are out of line or being disrespectful. She is a member of SGA and vice president and social media vice president of FCCLA. Lamiya is a dual enrolled student with CACC taking medical terminology courses. After high school, she wants to join the military and also attend Florida A&M University to earn a doctorate degree. What Lamiya loves most about school is learning new and exciting things in chemistry and Algebra II. Congratulations, Lamiya!

Eleventh grader Elijah Thornton has worked hard to complete an elective class through the ACCS Innovation Center for fiber optics. He has been self motivated to complete the course. In less than two weeks, he has nearly completed six weeks worth of coursework and is looking forward to completing the live lab portion of the course on the weekend, which will require him to come in for 6-8 hours on a Saturday. Elijah has also been assisting other students who are completing the course, including students who are older than him. He assists others by getting them logged into the online platform for the class and by helping them navigate within the portal to complete work. Congratulations, Eli!

Twelfth grader Keira Hilyer is a respectful and diligent student. She helps her classmates and teachers and staff whenever they ask. She is on the varsity volleyball team and is a member of SGA, Beta Club, Media Club, and Junior Leadership Lake Martin. In addition to everything she is involved in at CHS, she takes dual enrollment classes at CACC. She has been playing volleyball for four years. Keira enjoys writing and drawing in her free time, and she has recently started learning how to crochet. She is not exactly sure what she wants to do when she graduates from CHS, but she is still young and hopes to find her true passion once in college. Keira plans on attending college at Huntingdon for four years. What Keira enjoys most about school is volunteering to help with school events and getting the chance to do community service. Congratulations, Keira!
