Buzzy the Buzzard
While it’s sad to say, a hard truth is that lying is commonplace these days. Lying seems to run rampant everywhere.
Some people can and will even look you in the eye and lie to you. Some are able to fool others, somehow having them believe every word they say, cultivating quite a following of “fans” who trust them wholeheartedly and defend them to the utmost. Some even get elected to office.
We have an election coming up, and elections in future years will have even more offices up for vote, locally and beyond.
While I would like to encourage everyone able to do so to vote for honest and trustworthy candidates – especially since buzzards aren’t allowed to cast ballots – that seems like an almost impossible task.
As a popular fictitious doctor said, “Everybody lies.”
