A Sylacauga man was arrested last month in connection to a theft case from September.
Chief Deputy Scott Hammond reported that on September 22, the Sheriff’s Office took a report for third-degree theft of property.
Sgt. Rudd responded to the theft call on County Road 49 where an individual reportedly took vehicle parts from a residence. The case was turned over to investigations, and the investigations department determined who the suspect was.
Warrants were then signed on Shannon Allen Scott, 24 years old of Sylacauga. He was arrested on November 16 on the charge of third-degree theft of property.
Scott’s bond was set at $5,000, and he was released on bond November 17 to await trial. The Sheriff’s Office reported that all stolen property in the case was recovered.
