The Central Cougars hosted the Horseshoe Bend Generals at their opening home game last week, taking the win against the Generals with a final score of 76-50. The Cougars started the first quarter strong scoring 24 points to 10 points for the Generals. The Cougars continued to lead in scoring in both the second and third quarters. Although the Generals led in scoring in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to overcome the Cougars lead. MaxPreps named senior and center #21 Conner Mitchell as Player of the Game with 17 points scored, a FG percentage of 89, and a 3-point FG percentage of 100.
