The Third Saturday Trade Day in Millerville will be held at the Bibb Graves Community Center on Saturday, November 18, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shops open inside: toys, clothes, books, flowers, dishes, desks, tools, jewelry, collectibles, and more. Free outdoor vendor setup! No charge for outside setup for vendors, yard-sale items, arts and crafts, and swap-meet items. Food items and soft drinks available for purchase. BridgeWays Coosa County invites area youth to join them for Schools Out Day Camp, November 20-22! Children in pre-K through fifth grade will enjoy a broad range of enriching experiences and make new friends – all in a safe and secure environment. Drop-off is at 7:30 a.m. and pick-up at 5:30 p.m. at the BridgeWays Program Center, located at 9922 U.S. Highway 231, Rockford. Session cost: $20 per child, per day. The monthly meeting for the Coosa County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will be held on Monday, November 20, at 10 a.m. at the District Office located at 226 Coosa County Road 157 in Hanover.
Weekly
The Goodwater Youth Development and Recreational Center is open to the public weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and practice days for the travel ball team are those same days from 5 to 6 p.m. Cheerleader practice is held on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Friends of Flagg Mountain host a potluck dinner (bring something to share) with entertainment by local musicians on the First Friday of every month. Richville Neighborhood Watch will be held the first Thursday of each month at the fire department, 13185 Coosa County Rd. 14, Rockford, 35136. The gathering begins with a potluck meal at 6 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Come out and see what is happening in your community.
Quarterly
The Hanover Community Club and Neighborhood Watch will now hold quarterly gatherings at Andrews Chapel. These quarterly gatherings are held on the third Tuesday of March, June, September, and December at Andrews Chapel Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited and encouraged to attend.
