Two men were arrested late last month on warrants for unrelated cases while in custody with other agencies.
On October 20, Deputy Mitchell picked up 43-year-old Antonio Fargo Simmons of Sylacauga from the Talladega County Jail on warrants for Coosa County. He was arrested for a grand jury indictment for obstruction of justice.
Simmons’ bond in Coosa County was set at $1,500. He was released to another jurisdiction the following day.
In a separate case, on October 31, Joshua Eugene Kelley was arrested at the Talladega County Jail for probation violation and transported to the Coosa County Jail.
Kelley, 36 years old of Weogufka, is currently being held at the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
