This year’s homecoming photo shoot took place at the gem of Coosa County, the fire tower complex built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression, atop Flagg Mountain in the Weogufka State Forest.
Thank you to Flagg Mountain Caretaker Mary Thurman for opening the gate so the ladies could drive up to the tower complex, although many enjoyed walking the newly paved trail during a recent Central Coosa schools science field trip to Flagg Mountain.
Pictured from the left are senior court representatives Rebekah Burton, McKay Kelley, Kali Snell, and Eden Nickolson; male representatives eleventh grader Riley Humphrey and senior Elijah Richardson (not pictured eighth grade representative Kaleb Ballard); junior representatives Kelsey McLauglin and Traci Cox; sophomore representatives Henley Stevens and Re’Niyah Gibbs; eighth grade representatives Kalicia Davis and Destini Kelley; and seventh grade representatives Lillie Kimbrell and Henley Stevens.
Also pictured are Central Elementary School’s sixth grade homecoming representatives from the left Madison Lowe, Kandie Unbehant, Harper Self, Jada Gaddis, Jenni Yates, Addison Self, and Lily Howell.
Join our homecoming representatives, as well as our athletes and class floats, during our Homecoming Parade at 2 p.m. at Keith Bullard Stadium today. Pre-game starts at 6:20 p.m., which includes the CHS band performance and the Central Elementary queen crowning ceremony.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m. Join us during half-time for the homecoming king and queen crowning ceremony. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan.co. Pictures courtesy of Bill Miller Photography.
