A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, has claimed the life of a Montgomery man.
Jefferson J. Houston, 34, was fatally injured when the 2017 Toyota Tacoma he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Houston was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 85 near the 29 mile marker, approximately 10 miles west of Tuskegee, in Macon County.
Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
