Students from Central enjoyed a day at Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults, Camp ASCCA, located on Lake Martin. Camp ASCCA is a recreational facility dedicated to enriching the lives of people with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our students enjoyed the many activities at the park, including the arcade, a boat ride and the splash pad. You can tell by the looks on the kid’s faces that they had a great time. Thank you to our special education teachers, Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Strickland, Mrs. Stroud, Mrs. Villigrana, Mrs. Holbrook, Mrs. Hyatt, and Mrs. Byrd who made this opportunity possible for our students.
