Thank you to the Children’s Policy Council for sponsoring the Color Me Healthy art contest for Central Coosa students. Congratulations to the following winners who received the following cash prize awards: first place received $25, second place received $15, and third place received $10. The students were really proud of the art they created and excited to learn they were the winners of the contest.
In the sixth-twelfth grade division, tenth grader Marian Alfonzo won first place, and sixth grader Brodin Sherum won second place.
In the third grade division Addie Kairn won first place, Miranda Adams won second place, and Cameron Brown won third place.
In the pre-K-kindergarten division, Josselin Lopez won first place, Emanuel Cortez won second place, and third place was a tie between Ivy Robbins and Zander McVey. We are proud of all the artistic talent the students at Central Coosa displayed.
