Mrs. Trussell’s third grade class utilized the Central Coosa outdoor classroom to conduct the Mentos Geyser Experiment. Students tested the reaction Mentos had when dropped in a Diet Coke bottle versus the reaction it had when dropped in a Sprite bottle. Students drew their observations on their recording sheets and concluded that Sprite had a bigger explosion than Diet Coke. Thank you to Mrs. Trussell for making science fun and utilizing the outdoor classroom.
