The Town of Rockford welcomes new part-time Police Officer Brent Overton to the Rockford Police Department. During its March 21 meeting, the Town Council unanimously approved hiring Overton as a part-time officer. Overton was sworn into office Wednesday, March 29, and began working that day to serve and protect the town. Pictured is Overton, left, with Mayor Scott White during the oath of office.
