Both teams had a slow start, but the Cougars got the ball rolling in the third quarter with a 50-yard touchdown by Travanti Odem. In the opening of the fourth quarter Talladega would slide in a touchdown and two-point conversion, bringing the score to 6-8, Talladega.
That didn’t stop the Cougars who finished off strong in the fourth quarter with a touchdown by #4 and a two-point conversion by Travanti Odem. Another touchdown and two-point conversion would bring the final score to 22-8 Cougars.
