Limitless Mentoring is the relationship building program of Empowered to Conquer, a nonprofit started in Coosa County 13 years ago. Empowered to Conquer has previously offered its Limitless Groups and Limitless Retreat to Coosa students and was excited to have all three programs in the area starting today. Limitless Mentoring provides bi-weekly in-school mentoring, mentor/mentee pairing and weekend outing for girls and guys in grades 7-12 at Central.
Liz Huntley, Stephen Strickland, Coach Joe Belyeu, and Corporal Bradgel Moon spoke to the girls and guys separately about making good choices. Community members, teachers and coaches all volunteered to lead discussions after the assembly to further foster an environment of support for the students. Students were receptive, and many expressed interest in mentorship! Empowered to Conquer is grateful for the opportunity to serve in Coosa County in a deeper way this school year.
