Pets of the Week: Armada, Colorado and Titan
This is a super time of the year to adopt a new pet while we still have some very warm days, and soon hopefully, cooler ones will be here. Plenty of animals are ready for loving homes and waiting for good families to love them.
The Wetumpka Humane Shelter always has some ready to go; this week’s featured dogs are triplets. Armada, Colorado and Titan are three puppies from a litter of 10 that are still looking for their forever homes. They are lab/hound mixes and likely to be in the 50-60 pound range when fully grown.
One girl and two boys – active pups who love everyone and just want families of their own. Actually, this would be a great age for the adopting of one of these puppies, being the perfect time for serious house-training, sit, and to stay, while learning to be your loyal friend.
Adoption fees for dogs remain at $100 and covers many things, including the first vet visit, microchip, spay/neuter, deworming, and rabies shot if old enough. For an application, please call the shelter at 334-567-3377, and that will get things started.
Don’t forget, lots of cold water and shade if you don’t bring your dogs inside.
Until next time,
The Dog Lover.
