The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Big happenings at Flagg Mountain! The Alabama Forestry Commission and the County Commission have been cooperating to get things done. Prescribed burning in the woods and extensive repairs to the building will lead to a grand reopening in June.
Speaking of the Forestry Commission, a little bird told them about some bad loggers pushing up a pit to bury their garbage, near an abandoned building – a no-no. And the commission was out investigating this morning.
At today’s [Tuesday’s] County Commission meeting, the postmaster had to appear to complain about the roads. Is our mail delivery in jeopardy because the county engineer does not understand how ditches and culverts work? I hope not!
Granted, last week’s rain was a test for any road drainage structure. Flying around, I saw many that failed. Hmm… remember this is election year. We can’t let important things like the roads out of our mind when voting time comes.
I’ll be your eye in the sky!
Love,
Buzzy
