Each student was given two events between 1820-1861. They were then responsible for creating index cards with the event’s name, date, description/significance, connection to a future historical event, and an illustration of the event. They then compiled all of the events onto a large timeline in the hallway (each event was completed multiple times across three classes). Thank you to U.S. history teacher Mrs. Bailey for creating engaging learning activities.
