Recipe submitted by Christine Owens
With lower temperatures expected this weekend and a few more cold snaps still to go, this simple recipe is a great way to warm up during these cooler nights. This recipe can also be divided and used for gift giving!
Ingredients:
2 lb. box of Nestle Quick
8 qt. box powdered milk
1 lb. jar non-dairy creamer
1 lb. box powdered sugar
Directions:
Sift together all four ingredients. Store in a large jar, or in quart jars as gifts.
For a single serving of hot chocolate, mix 1/3 cup of the mixture with one cup of hot water.
If putting in jars for gifts you can decorate the jars. I usually tie a ribbon around the top with the recipe attached.
Enjoy!
