A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. Saturday, February 26, has claimed the lives of a Wetumpka man and a Deatsville juvenile.
The juvenile was fatally injured when the 2007 Toyota Camry the 19-year-old was driving crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2013 Ford Mustang driven by Steven Douglas Massey, 46, of Millbrook.
The 19-year-old and Randall Wayne Singleton, 32, of Wetumpka, a passenger in the Ford Mustang, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Jennifer Ann Hutton, 37, of Prattville, another passenger in the Mustang, was transported to an area hospital for immediate medical treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 14 near the 165 mile marker, approximately one mile west of Coosada, in Elmore County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
