The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Last week, Rockford lost a bright light with the passing of Mrs. Jo Scarbrough. She was industrious in her jobs and volunteer work. Running the Hungry Farmer, the Circle S Market and the Coosa County News, while working with the Women’s Club, Historical Society and Arts Council – she was a familiar face around town for decades.
She enjoyed being around people, and she was kind and ladylike. She will be missed and fondly remembered.
I noted that there was a “state of the schools” published, but no “state of the county” or “state of the towns.” No candidate running on a promise of term limits. We do have some County Commission races to watch!
And we will be your eyes in the sky.
Love,
Buzzy and family
