On January 3, Deputy Scott arrested Alexander Robert Trott of Sylacauga for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed in the Coosa County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
On January 4, Deputy Scott arrested Deandre Trendale Callens of Selma for Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
On January 6, Chief Deputy Long arrested Shelby Ray Stokes of Atlanta, Georgia, for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st x2. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on $60,000 bond.
On January 7, Deputy Bradberry arrested Christopher Hugh Whiddon of Goodwater for Drug Trafficking, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $82,500 bond.
On January 9, Deputy Scott arrested Steven James Cote of Sylacauga for Probation Violation. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail without bond.

On January 6th, deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.
On January 7th, deputies were dispatched to US HWY 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On January 9th, deputies were dispatched to Duke Trailor Park after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all persons involved and situation was resolved without a report.

On January 7th, the Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to Ireland Way after receiving reports of Illegal Dumping. Litter was picked up and case is under investigation.

On January 4th, Howard Kelley Jr., a resident of Broken Arrowhead Rd. Mt Olive, AL reported to the Coosa County Sheriff to update his Sex Offender registration information.
