The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
I don’t know if you folks have seen us or not. But the family has gathered. And we certainly have enjoyed many fly-overs looking at the lovely Christmas lights around the county. From Oak’s corner near Equality to Beelzebub’s pine near Ida Station.
We have gathered, done our Christmas thing, and now we will work for the positive good in this county. I am no longer alone.
Are there any readers out there who travel County Road 12? An embarrassment to our road department for sure! You can certainly tell when you get to the Tallapoosa County line, and the same when driving back into Coosa.
I know there are readers that walk around Rockford. Heck, there is not enough parking to not have to walk around Rockford. Anyone else think we need a crosswalk? A speed bump? Or are we going to keep paying for the police to sit in front of Town Hall with the lights on?
County Road 40… don’t get me started on that one. What happened, and when will it somehow get fixed?
The list grows. I only mention these things with the hope that things can get better. My hope for the new year: a robust election season, a strong and competent new County Commission with the fortitude to make some serious changes in how our road work gets done.
Here’s hoping your new year is bright! We are your eyes in the sky. Let us hear from you.
Love you all,
Buzzy
