Buzzy the Buzzard
Last week there was a road kill. We were cleaning it up. And the next day, we assembled a family party – 20 of us were out shuckin’ and jivin’ and drying our wings doing the buzzard dance.
But nobody stopped to take our picture. Nobody. With a photo contest underway.
What do we have to do to earn your love, Rockford?
We perform a valuable public service, are charming and entertaining, and I poke into public issues that need airing.
Nobody listens. People, you need to listen and take heed. I am your eye in the sky because, Lord knows, you need me.
